It’s Inappropriate
It’s Inappropriate

It’s inappropriate to touch your thigh
To breathe softly on your neck
To brush my fingers across your cheek
It’s inappropriate to taste your skin
To thrill at the quick intake of breath
To slide my hands slowly down your back
It’s inappropriate to coax the hem of your dress higher
To savor the intoxicating scent of your perfume
To luxuriate in the texture of your hair
It’s inappropriate to fall helplessly into the depths of your eyes
To gently press my lips to yours
To whisper sweet nothings in your ear
It’s inappropriate to nibble at your ear lobe
To bite the special spot just above your heel
To shower tender kisses down upon the base of your spine
It’s inappropriate to know you as I do
To see the soul inside the flesh
To embrace the totality of you
To love you
But I do
